Tenant fees

Hamilton Piers are transparent with any initial charges/deposits applicable to tenants which are linked to an application for a tenancy, these are summarised below:

·  Holding Deposit - 1 week’s rent (calculated at Monthly Rent x 12 divided by 52) payable at commencement of the application process. Please feel free to call us for more information on the terms and conditions that relate to our holding deposit. 

·  Security Deposit - 1 month’s rent - usually payable 3 days prior to the tenancy commencement date. Please feel free to call us for more information on the terms and conditions that relate to our holding deposit. 

These charges incorporate all related costs of processing an application for a tenancy (including referencing). At any time during the application process should tenants decide not to proceed, or fail referencing due to incorrect information being given at application stage, then the holding deposit is non refundable unless agreed otherwise by the agent. 

If a landlord withdraws prior to tenancy commencement any deposits will be refunded to the tenants. 

All referencing is undertaken by Property STOP Ltd on behalf of Hamilton Piers.
